By downloading, installing, or using Health Genie ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Health Genie is a health and wellness tracking application that reads data from Apple Health to provide:
- A daily Vitality Score (0-100) based on steps, heart rate, and sleep
- AI-powered Morning Briefs summarizing your health trends
- Daily Nudges with personalized wellness suggestions
- Health trend charts and streak tracking
3. Medical Disclaimer
Health Genie is not a medical device. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Vitality Score, Morning Briefs, Daily Nudges, and all other content are for informational and wellness purposes only.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the App. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
4. Apple Health Integration
- The App requires access to Apple Health (HealthKit) data to function
- You control which health categories you share with the App
- You may revoke health data access at any time through your device's Settings
- The App reads health data in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines
5. User Accounts
- The App uses anonymous authentication; no personal information is required to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
6. Subscriptions
- Health Genie offers a free tier and a Pro subscription
- Pro subscriptions are available as monthly ($3.99/month) or annual ($24.99/year) plans
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store
- Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy
7. AI-Generated Content
- Morning Briefs and Daily Nudges are generated by artificial intelligence
- AI-generated content is based on anonymized health metrics and may not always be accurate
- You should not rely solely on AI-generated suggestions for health decisions
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated content
8. Intellectual Property
- Health Genie and its content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App
- The Health Genie name, logo, and branding are proprietary
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for any health outcomes or decisions made based on information provided by the App
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or website.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
